2014
An idea
takes root.
AFC Ann Arbor began with local players, entrepreneurs, and fans who wanted a community-based soccer club. Founded in 2014, the club brought that idea onto the pitch in the Great Lakes Premier League.
The men joined the NPSL in 2016. In 2019, the women began play, giving the club a second senior team and a new chapter.

Two Teams.
Since those first matches, players and supporters have made the Mighty Oak their own. The women’s team brought more people into that story.
